Journalist, and through them Croatian citizens, were not given any real answer to any question regarding reasons, content or results of the President's visit to the USA, although answers to those question constitute obligation no president of any democratic state can ignore.

The Croatian President gave just some statements about her American trip and she gave it to just one media – the Croatian Radiotelevision (HRT). HRT broadcasted those statements without any journalistic interventions as if it was the President's PR Office not the public media service.

That non-professional President's and HRT's attitude culminated yesterday evening. Instead of organizing press conference after she returned to the country, the President decided to be a guest in HRT show, hosted by part-time associate journalist known as her devotee.

During that interview no serious questions about her visit to USA were asked and, of course, no serious answers were given to Croatian citizens. Therefore we find it to be humiliating for journalist profession and at the same time to be disrespecting for all Croatian citizens.
