Croatian Journalists' Association (CJA) calls for processing the person who attacked and offended Vojislav Mazzocco, index.hr journalist, while he was doing his job. He was reporting about Zagreb Taxi Drivers' protest on June 21. when a person started offending him, hit him and took his equipment. It should not be difficult for the police to identify the perpetrator, as the whole incident was recorded.

CJA: World Press Freedom Day is not exactly the day to be proud of great media freedom

World Press Freedom Day is, due to all known circumstances, not a day to celebrate high range of media freedom but a day to recall of media freedom to be more and more threatened, said Saša Leković, CJA president, at the occasion of the World Press Freedom Day. He highlighted the negative Croatian rating given by relevant international organizations and increasing pressure and attacks against journalists.
